SpyPlates is an offline collection game and travel companion. You spot license plates from different U.S. states on the road, log which states you've seen, and build a collection of all 50 — unlocking achievements, Atlas Intelligence files, and Highway Legends as you go. It's part road-trip game, part scavenger hunt, part mysterious field journal.
No. SpyPlates never records, stores, or transmits plate numbers. The only thing it logs is which state you chose to collect — a single tap that you make yourself. There is no plate database and nothing identifying about any vehicle is ever captured.
The current version is fully manual — you tap to log a state. There's no automatic plate reading and no ALPR. A future optional feature may offer on-device assistance to help confirm a state, but it would run entirely on your phone, store nothing, and upload nothing. SpyPlates is not a license plate recognition platform.
No. SpyPlates is designed for passengers, or for the driver only while safely parked. Never operate a mobile device while driving. The mission can wait — your safety comes first, always.
SpyPlates is free to download and play the core collection game. Any future premium collections or expansions will always be clearly optional and never required to enjoy the full base experience.
SpyPlates is built for iPhone and runs on recent versions of iOS. It works fully offline, so you can collect on remote highways and through dead zones without missing a sighting. iPad and other platforms may follow on the roadmap.
